Chai Cookies

Looking for a new recipe to add to your holiday baking? We have just the thing!

4 tbsp Metolius Chai
1 cup softened butter
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder

Combine softened butter, sugar and chai in the bowl of a mixer until smooth. Add vanilla and egg and mix until creamy and slowly ad flour and baking powder and mix until a thick dough forms.

Refrigerate dough for 1-2 hours until firm. Preheat oven to 350º while dough chills. Scoop into balls and slightly flatten on the baking sheet. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until the edges start to brown.

Top with Cardamom Rose Garnish or make a quick icing by combining powdered sugar and Metolius Chai.
